Memberships at Elbow Springs Golf Club are sold privately between members and prospective buyers.
The Club does not list or broker memberships.
Once a sale has been agreed upon, the Club facilitates the transfer process and completes the membership registration.
🔷 STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
✅ Step 1 – Advertise Your Membership
Members are responsible for marketing their own membership. Common platforms include:
- Kijiji
- Facebook Marketplace
- Community publications

✅ Step 2 – Provide Information to Prospective Buyers
To help buyers understand the Club and the membership offering, please share:
- Introductory Membership Flyer (Resource section below)
- Corporate Membership Options (if applicable)
- Membership Handbook (available on the Member Portal)
✅ Step 3 – Agree on a Sale Price
The seller and buyer negotiate directly and agree on a final purchase price.
The Club is not involved in pricing or negotiations.
✅ Step 4 – Complete the Required Documentation
Once terms are agreed, the following documents must be completed:
- Bill of Sale (for your records - to be signed by both seller and buyer)
- Application to Purchase (completed by the buyer)
- Redemption Notice (completed by the seller)
All forms are available as fillable PDFs in the Resources section and may be completed and signed electronically.
✅ Step 5 – Finalize the Transfer with the Club
Once all documents have been completed:
- Ensure you are not in default of any financial obligations under the Club’s By‑Laws or policies, including annual dues, fees, or assessments. This includes any payments owing to the Club or to Elbow Springs Golf Club Limited Partnership. Your account must be in good order to complete the sale.
- Arrange a meeting with the Club to finalize the transfer.

Completed documents may be emailed to colin@elbowsprings.com in advance of your meeting to allow for review and preparation.
💳 Redemption (Transfer) Fee
The required redemption fee should be provided at the scheduled meeting.
✅ Step 6 – Final Processing by the Club
Once all documentation and fees have been received:
- The Club will process the transfer
- The buyer will be issued an Equity Registration Form
- A Membership Certificate will be assigned
💰 REDEMPTION (TRANSFER) FEES
- $1,000 + GST – Individual Equity Membership
- $1,500 + GST – Corporate Membership
Fees must be paid by cheque to: Elbow Springs Golf Club Limited Partnership
⚠️ Ownership cannot be transferred until the fee is received.

- Membership sales are conducted privately between the seller and buyer
- The Club’s role is to facilitate the transfer process once a sale has been agreed
- While the Club does not formally list or broker memberships, we are always available to provide guidance and support throughout the process
- All required documentation must be completed before transfer can occur
